Meet The Owner
Judith (Judi)Lyons-Picard was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina where she began her love of the beauty and fashion industry as a model with the Millie Lewis Modeling Agency and Pageant competitions in the Miss USA Organization. Judi attended Wingate College and The College Of Charleston in pursuit of an art degree. Not finding what drove her heart at either of those fine institutions she turned to Cosmetology and doing what she had always loved. The Lyons Mane was founded in 2007 and has grown into it's current location. Now almost 20 years into her career you will find Judi in the salon still doing what she loves, helping her staff and guests look and feel great on the inside as well as out. Judi is married to an amazing husband named Guy Picard, has a 24 year old son and daughter-in-law and is expecting a grandchild in October 2017. In her off time Judi enjoys playing with her Yorki Lulu and her Labradoodle Harold, exercising, running in the parks, camping, hiking, kayaking and the occasional exotic vacation. Her driving mantra is family first and family isn't always related.
